So tonight Aidan finally gets to go home! This morning he had a Pickline put in his arm. Along with the pickline he will have a little backpack to wear that will hold his antibiotics. He will have to wear the backpack and have the antibiotics for the next few weeks.
Dad picked up a little jester hat yesterday and he has been so excited about it. He is on quite the jester kick this week. Bells bells bells 🙂
The family has been completely shocked by the overwhelming response to Aidan and his drawings. They are trying hard to keep up with all of your kind messages, but it is not an easy task! You all have such big caring hearts. I believe tonight will be a much needed night of rest for the Reeds. 🙂

I just felt drawn to leave a comment. Our family has been though hell and back, with our 3rd child. Addison was born with a genectic disorder.
I can really say”I know what you are going through” Addison had been hospitalized more than she had been at home her first 2 years of life.
Now three years old, we still live at our local Doctors office… which every employee knows us by name and The Mayo Clinic is our 2nd home.
Hang in there, get to know the coffee cart gal 🙂 And walk the halls in Sponge Bob slippers.
My heart goes out to Aidan and your family. Don’t forget to take time each day and do something for yourself. Aidan needs you to be strong. Not to mention little Amery 🙂
Many thoughts and prayers, The Cannizzaro’s
Glad to hear Aidan is going home! Can’t wait to get my print!
enjoy!
Aiden God bless! I just found your website from another friend’s link. Your art work is amazing, your strength and determination is amazing times 10! You are an inspiration and I cannot wait to frame your Sponge Bob and Friends creation that I just purchased from Etsy. I will frame it proudly, put it up, and use it as a reminder to see the positive and be strong like yourself. I look forward to reading about your treatments and your recovery. Hang in there!

Just purchased one of your awesome Stegosaurus pictures! Happy to see that lil’ dudes still love the dinosaurs like I used to when I was little! My sister and her family are also the Reed’s and have a little one, Dylan, the same age as Aidan so I am going to attack them later to get them to pickup another pictue for his bedroom! All my luck goes out to you! Adam , London, UK.
Hi,
My name is Aaron or Ace77man on Youtube. I kind of run a father/son based channel where my son and I just have some fun. Not all the videos I have put up are of both of us, but for the most part they are. Anyways, I seen your story about Aiden selling his works of art, and thought if it would make him feel good, I could purchase one and highlight it on one of our videos. I know it’s not much, but as a father I totally fell in love and feel for your situation. Please respond if it seems like something you would like to do. If you Subscribe to my youtube channel please let me knowwho exactly you are in a message so I get your information correct. God bless you and Aiden and all of your family
Peace, Aaron/Ace77man
Like I tell Luke (stuntman luke) all the time, “BE STRONG BUDDY”
Hi Aidan (and family)! 🙂
I’m so glad to read this good news! I had a PICC line as well & went through the backpack IV feedings at night & antibiotics during the day–but I wasn’t 5 years old! Aidan, you’re amazing! 🙂
Stay strong,
Inga
