Round 4

Aidan’s little cheeks are getting chubby from treatment, and he seems to be eating very well.

I cannot help but smile when I see this picture. He looks SO happy!

Yesterday was Aidan’s fourth round of chemo. It went really well. The doctor said on Wednesday they will take another sample of his bone marrow to see if Aidan is in remission. They say he SHOULD be in remission but we will all feel much better knowing for sure.

With Leukemia it takes almost no time to go into remission. After remission will be consolidation chemotherapy. Aidan will go through this form of chemo for several months to try to rid of any other diseased cells. And after this he will start his two years of maintenance chemo. In other words, Leukemia really sucks. Period.
